After Nike and UNDEFEATED last year collaboration on the Air Max 90, streetwear stalwart UNDEFEATED wanted to up the ante for their next project by making even more constructional modifications.
The new collaboration showcases going against the grain of not only their prior set but also the model’s newly crafted 30th anniversary shape. This time streetwear imprint has steered into the 90’s more trail-equipped variations, bringing new, more intricate fabrications alongside.
The total three — which diversify into neutral and neon territory simultaneously — all connect with grid patterns at the vamp, a smooth toe cap that seamlessly transitions into the rest of the paneling, and a tooling sleek though marked by contrast speckles and a somewhat translucent tread.
The latter’s finish also carries over to the molds at the sides of the eye stay whose attached laces generally conform to the standard. Strike logos finish off the tongue patch, the brand’s namesake bold prints along the heel, then the last of the logos.
If you’re looking to get your hands on either pair, the black colorway releaed on March 14th at UNDFTD shops, followed by a Nike SNKRS released on March 19th, but the blue variation will be released on March 26th (Air Max Day) as an UNDFTD exclusive.
